ABOUT THE EVENT
Following the success of previous conferences, the Emirates Oncology is one of the largest international gatherings in the field of Cancer Medicine in this region. It has become the premier platform, not only for the presentation of new science, but also for the unique networking opportunities providing the ideal forum to discuss the latest findings, place them into context, and optimally understand how we may enhance our day to day practice.
It is only through an exchange of the latest extensive research that we can offer the ideal program and benefits to our members, and ultimately our patients, to not only effectively fight cancer, but prevent it through advancements in early diagnosis and efficient pathways, with the ultimate goal of achieving what we all strive for: A CURE. The program will be both exciting and ground breaking in its wide-range multidisciplinary content. It is designed to address pressing issues in cancer control regionally and internationally, including prevention through to radical and palliative treatments.
In addition to the traditional poster presentations as well as lectures by world renowned guest speakers, we will be offering surgical workshops, interactive sessions, hands on workshops as well as several sessions specifically dedicated to nurses and clinicians.
We intend to establish a solid foundation for knowledge exchange, best clinical practices and shared experience and, dynamically use this to enhance the role and impact of advocacy, and social enterprises with the aim to compliment the effort of the government and private sectors in driving a patient-centred strategy.
“Consensus, Controversies & Challenges in Multidisciplinary Cancer Care” is the theme of this year’s conference. It has an overall goal of uniting research, scientists and academics to discuss and share knowledge in the evolving field of Oncology practice.
